Community Bank Kyabram was proud to support the All Breeds Show Society (ABSS) and its efforts to create a welcoming and encouraging event for young people, families and the wider rural community.
With a strong focus on youth participation, inclusion and encouragement, the event gave young people the chance to get involved in showing in a positive and supportive environment. It was an opportunity to learn new skills, meet others with shared interests and enjoy being part of a community that understands the important role agriculture can play in people’s lives.
Community Bank Kyabram's Community Engagement Lead Nattalie Joinbee said supporting initiatives like this is about backing local people and helping create meaningful opportunities for the next generation.
“We were proud to support the All Breeds Show Society and the positive impact this event had on young people and rural families. This support was a result of our recent funding round and awarded at our 2025 AGM, so it's been great to see the outcome already,” she said.
For many young people, working with animals brings a strong sense of purpose, belonging and joy. Events like this can make a real difference by providing a safe and rewarding outlet, particularly for those facing challenges in their everyday lives.
Another example of community banking in action... backing initiatives that bring people together and create lasting local impact.
