Pony Club Building Momentum

There is something pretty special about seeing a local club with a clear vision... and a committee ready to roll up its sleeves and make it happen.

Community Bank Kyabram's Community Engagement Lead Nattalie Joinbee caught up with Kyabram Pony Club President Jamae, Treasurer Amanda and Sponsorship Representative Dale following the club’s recent $5,000 funding support through Community Bank Kyabram’s latest funding round presented at the AGM.

The visit was a great opportunity to reconnect after the funding announcement, hear how things are progressing and talk about what comes next.

During the catch-up, the committee shared more about upcoming engagement opportunities later in the year, with possible involvement in a dressage event and the Kyabram Show. There was also discussion around the opening of the club’s new yards, which could create a valuable opportunity for Community Bank Kyabram to be part of the day, speak to the community and host a space for enquiries and engagement.

Nattalie was taken on a tour of the club’s facilities and shown the site of the planned new yards. With additional funding now secured by the club, the project is set to move ahead.

“It was great to reconnect after the recent funding round and hear more about where the club is headed,” Natt said.

It was an encouraging visit and a strong reminder that community investment is about more than a funding moment... it is also about building relationships and backing local groups as they bring their plans to life.

“There is a real sense of momentum here, with a passionate committee, exciting plans for the future and some wonderful progress already being made. We’re proud to support clubs like Kyabram Pony Club and look forward to seeing what comes next".

Kyabram Pony Club is clearly a club with momentum. With new committee members, fresh ideas and a strong vision for the future, there is plenty to look forward to.
