Warramunda Community Care clients are enjoying safer, smoother and more accessible transport thanks to a new mobility van now out on the road in Kyabram.

The vehicle was supported by Community Bank Kyabram and the Kyabram Club and is already making a meaningful difference for Warramunda clients, helping them stay connected, active and supported in their local community.

Warramunda Community Care provides services across Residential Aged Care and Support at Home, with local people delivering care for local clients. The new mobility van adds another practical layer of support, making it easier for clients to attend appointments, enjoy outings and remain part of community life.

Community Bank Kyabram Branch Manager Mel Roberts said the project was a wonderful example of local organisations working together for the benefit of local people.

“This van is about so much more than transport. It means people can stay connected to their community, attend places, activities and travel with greater comfort and confidence. Our customers should be really proud to support Warramunda Community Care because this is exactly what community banking is here to do. When local people choose to bank with us, it helps us support projects that have a real and lasting impact for people right here in Kyabram", she said.

The van has already received wonderful feedback from Warramunda clients, with smoother rides, easier access and plenty of smiles along the way.

Mel said the project also highlighted the importance of Warramunda Village as a community-owned asset.

“Warramunda plays such an important role in caring for people across our district. To see this van already out on the road and making life easier for clients is so good.”

The project reflects the strength of community backing in Kyabram, with local organisations supporting practical services that help people live well, remain independent and stay connected.
