Return of Community Carols

The Kyabram Community Carols in the Park returned with renewed energy following its earlier cancellation due to extreme heat. Supported by funding from Community Bank Kyabram, this year’s event drew the largest crowd yet, with more than 800 community members attending.

Community investment funding from Community Bank Kyabram was instrumental in delivering the fireworks display, portable toilet hire, advertising and entertainment including a petting zoo.

Stef Withall from the Kyabram Ministers Fellowship expressed her appreciation for the community's support and the positive atmosphere created on the night.

"This year's event was a wonderful show of unity and offered a space for families and friends to celebrate together after the disappointment of earlier weather-related postponement", she said.

The organisers highlighted the significant impacts of the event:

  • Strengthened Community Connection and Belonging The Carols brought residents together across generations and backgrounds, fostering a shared sense of community pride and connection.

  • Positive Visibility and Reputation for Organisers and Partners With a record attendance, the event enhanced the public profile of the Kyabram Ministers Fellowship and supporting organisations.

  • Increased Participation Momentum and Future Engagement The enthusiastic response from attendees has generated momentum for future community activities. Volunteers and families alike have expressed interest in continued involvement, supporting ongoing community activation rather than a one-off experience.

Community Bank Kyabram remains committed to supporting local initiatives that build local pride and community-led shared experiences.
